School Outreach Programs!

Let MCF bring our youth education programs to your school! We offer 45-minute school outreach programs that can be taught in a classroom setting for grades K-5.

Coop to Classroom: Learn all about how and why we care for our coop of hens at MCF! We will bring a guest chicken to visit your classroom for a hands-on lesson on chicken care, anatomy, egg laying, and local food systems. 

Bees & Beekeeping: Through play and movement, students will learn about our busy pollinators and the important roles within a honeybee colony. We will also explore some fascinating apiculture tools and learn how local bees help our farm thrive!

The Incredible Edible Plant: Students will discover botany and plant anatomy by dissecting, examining, and tasting some of our favorite edible plants.  

We can accommodate one class at a time. For larger groups or multiple classes, please schedule multiple programs.
