General Program Policies:
Montclair Community Farms (MCF) accepts registrations in the order that they are received.
MCF reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or change programs as needed.
All our programs are outdoors and nature-based so we run rain or shine (except for dangerous weather). Please always check the weather and dress or pack appropriately.
Youth Programs:
We always schedule a snack break into our programs so please pack a snack and water bottle for your child. We do not allow any participants to share snacks.
Upon registration, please let us know if your child has any allergies or health concerns we need to be aware of. If requested we may choose to make sessions nut-free.
MCF reserves the right to remove any child without refund due to unacceptable behavior.
Scholarships are available upon request and are limited to one per child per session. Please contact us for more information at info@montclaircommunityfarms.org.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Please consider using your refund to make a donation to support MCF’s mission
If a program is canceled by MCF due to insufficient registration, a 100% refund will be offered.
If we must cancel a one-time program due to inclement weather, that day’s session will be rescheduled for an available rain date.
If an individual requests a cancellation refund prior to the start of a program, it will only be granted if we can fill the spot(s).
No refunds will be given after a session begins. Due to the high demand and small group size of our programs, we cannot offer partial refunds for missed sessions.
For each 6-week session of Sprouts and Sweet Peas we schedule in an additional make-up day in case of dangerous weather, staff illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. For any additional unexpected cancellations, that day’s program will be rescheduled for an available make-up day based on staff availability.
A $25 administrative fee per individual registrant applies to all other refunds.
